CAR Engineering
& Manufacturing
CAR Engineering and Manufacturing specializes in production
metal stampings (conventional punch presses, multi-slide and 4-slide),
CNC machining, screw machine parts (.125" to .750"), EDM wire
fabrication, and in house tool making.
Glass-Bonded Mica is the only inorganic material to bridge the
performance materials gap between organic plastics and ceramics
(Temperature range: -400 F to +1400F). Crystex transfer molds and
machines custom parts. Rod and sheets are also available.
Rollforming of most metals up to .125" thick and up to 30" wide.
Secondary operations include machining, stamping, and finishing.
Custom molded rubber parts. Materials
include SBR, Nitrile, Neoprene, Silicone, EPDM and others.
Standard stocked parts include rubber grommets, bumpers, bushings, O
rings, vibration mounts, etc. Over 500 standard parts in
stock.
- Heavy Press and Tool, Inc.
Metal stamping for large parts. Presses range from 10 to 520
tons. Secondary operations include machining, assembly and finishing.
Thermoset laminates, vulcanized fibre, thermoplastic laminates
in coil, rod, tube, and sheet. Off-the-shelf inventory of many raw
materials are available. Secondary operations include slitting,
sheeting, and limited fabrication.
Custom blow molding with shot sizes from 1/2 oz.
to 25 lbs. Secondary operations include punching, drilling,
riveting, flaming, routing, sonic welding, and adhesive application.
- Performance Elastomers, Inc.
Extruder of closed cell sponge and dense rubber
materials for seals and gaskets. Secondary operations include diecutting, adhesive
lamination, cutting, splicing, molded corners, sub assembly, and
packaging.
Extruder of thermoplastic materials including PVC,
ABS, TPV/TPE, PP, PE, PS, TPU as well as others. Co-extrusion
and encapsulation of wire, fiber optic cable, etc. Secondary
operations include bending, CNC machining, cutting, embossing,
printing, punch/drill, tape/adhesive, welding and custom packaging.
Custom thermoplastic injection molding (up to 400 ton, 48 oz.
shot size). Secondary operations include pad printing, in mold foil
decorating, assembly, and packaging.
Custom Blow molding for small to medium sized parts,
and for low-volume applications.
Fiberglass
molding (hand layup and spray-up); pad printing; laser etching; screen
printing; prototype injection molding; prototype machining and
stamping.
